Had the most delightful brunch experience at "eight am" in San Francisco today! This charming spot is definitely becoming my go-to weekend destination. I ordered their bacon frittata and was blown away by the execution. The frittata was perfectly cooked - fluffy eggs with a beautiful melted cheddar top that had just the right amount of browning. The bacon pieces were generously distributed throughout, adding the perfect savory bite to each forkful. What impressed me most was the thoughtful accompaniments. The seasoned breakfast potatoes on the side were crispy on the outside and tender inside with just the right amount of spice. And that fresh fruit bowl! A colorful mix of strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and banana slices - all perfectly ripe and a refreshing palate cleanser between bites of the rich frittata. The presentation was Instagram-worthy on their stylish white plate with gold trim, but more importantly, everything tasted as good as it looked. I spotted a bottle of Tapatio hot sauce on the table, which is always a welcome addition for those who like a little heat. Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere that's perfect for a leisurely Sunday brunch. If you're looking for a breakfast spot that pays attention to the details and serves up hearty yet refined breakfast classics, "eight am" is absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu soon!

Absolutely great place in Fisherman's Wharf, very popular and will often have a small queue or waiting list, but this moves really quickly and the most I've waited it 10mins.....totally worth the wait.Good selection menu; eggs, pancakes, french toast cooked and presented perfectly (and a lot of the choices come with a side of fruit salad to help make you feel less guilty about all the yummy food you're eating).Service is friendly and efficient, always checking in and topping up any refills.

I went here twice, once on a whim and the second time with determination to try the French toast while on vacation. I’ve been to lots of little brunch places in my life and I think this ranks as my top homey place. It’s not anything special but feels like a quick breakfast place back home. Service was quick, kind, and attentive. The food was amazing albeit a bit too large for someone my size. I got the waffles and genuinely probably one of the best I’ve had in my life. French toast was good but too sweet for me really, I probably would top it with something salty like bacon to balance it out. My god the potato side was great. Just beautiful.

Eight AM is a must-visit, just a couple minutes’ walk from the Marriott. The service was quick, the coffee was fantastic, and the breakfast was absolutely phenomenal. This family-owned restaurant clearly puts love into everything they serve. I ordered the mushroom, spinach, and Swiss frittata, which came with delicious homemade potatoes and a fresh, flavorful fruit cup—everything was great! The food came out incredibly fast yet was top-notch in quality. Our coffee and water were constantly refilled, ensuring a perfect dining experience. Highly recommend!

The place is small and cozy but packs so much decadence into the food. The French Toast in this picture is a Major Hit! The staff were very attentive. This was hands down the best place my husband and I ate at around Fisherman Wharf area. If there is a wait out the door just know it is worth it.

Unfortunately we found this place on our last day of our visit to San Francisco. It’s right around the corner from the Argonaut Hotel where we stayed. Although we found several great dinners for breakfast during our stay I have to say without a doubt this was my favorite. The food and people were excellent however, the fruit was so amazing from the presentation to the taste. They were very busy for a Monday morning, there was a wait to be seated. That’s always a good sign so we ate outside since the sun was out, it wasn’t too bad. If they’re too busy they own the dinner a few doors down so you could try that one. I noticed several employees at each location so I had to ask. They said they were a little different, one has a license to serve alcohol is the main difference. Great job, love to support small local family businesses as we are small businesses owners back in Ohio. Thanks again

Oh this place was great!! We had the bagels which are cut in half and you can pick 2 different options to put on each side. Those combinations are really good and go so well together. Highly recommend. This place gets busy so do plan on a 20-30min wait at busy times. The seats are all stools with no back support, but it’s works. Just don’t plan on staying long because it is a quick breakfast spot.Right across the street is a nice little park and the area is really chill.
